Primera foto del 2018; Embalse del Villar

Este 1º de Enero salimos decididos a encontrar lugares nuevos que fotografiar cerca de Madrid y luego de varios infructuosos intentos llegamos al embalse del Villar situado en el curso bajo del río Lozoya, en plena Sierra de Guadarrama, y que curiosamente es el más antiguo en funcionamiento de toda la región y de hecho de todo el sistema de embalses del Canal de Isabel II; suministra el agua potable a la capital de España y a buena parte de la Comunidad de Madrid por lo que después de los meses de aguda sequía que sufrimos en España el nivel actual es el que podéis observar en la fotografía, mi 1ª fotografía de este año 2018 que esperamos nos obsequie muchas buenas instantáneas que compartir con todos vosotros.

This January 1 we decided to find new places to photograph near Madrid and after several unsuccessful attempts we reached the reservoir of Villar located in the lower Lozoya River, in the Sierra de Guadarrama, and which is curiously the oldest in operation of the entire region and in fact of the entire reservoir system of the Canal de Isabel II; supplies drinking water to the capital of Spain and much of the Community of Madrid so that after the months of acute drought that we suffer in Spain the current level is what you can see in the photograph, my 1st photo of this year 2018 that we hope will give us many good snapshots to share with all of you.
